evil duck

More of a modification/accessorising than a fully original creation, but regardless it was an enjoyable and simple project.

The duck was disassembled, and the blues of the eyes scraped off. Using a red posca pen the eyes were recoloured in red, and then masked off in order to paint the front half. Both halves were lightly sanded and then spray painted black simultaneously. 4 coats were applied and in between the application and drying the mouth was modified.

Wrenching the bubble mechanism from the jaws it was spray painted red in 1 coat, and then acrylic nails were hot glued onto each limb. Using black posca pen the throat was drawn onto the back of the mouth, and then more acrylic nails were hot glued on the inner lip of the beak, using larger sizes in the center and thinner ones as they moved outwards.

The cheap wiring had detached itself during disassembly and  therefore had to be fixed, as the toe cover was the connection point of the feet to the body, it had to be put on before soldering, but connected after, this was not an issue but did add an extra layer of consideration to this project.
